**As of June 2, 2023, project was awarded to Reece Construction, awarded amount is $2,752,607.03.** Schedule A: Work under this schedule includes replacing approximately 3,100 LF of new 12-inch, 10-inch, 8-inch, and 6-inch ductile iron water main and abandonment of existing asbestos concrete water main within 59th Ave NE, 195th St NE, and 66th Ave NE, and adjoining side streets. Work will also include street restoration associated with the replacement of the existing water main and upgrades to existing fire lines, water service connections and associated meters. Schedule B: Work under this schedule includes paving full-depth pavement replacement of various roads within the City of Arlington. Roadways include 59th Ave NE, 195th St NE, Woodbine Dr, Cedarbough Loop, Oakwood Pl, and Shady Grove Pl. Work shall also include pedestrian crossing improvements with rectangular rapid-flashing beacon crossing at 59th Ave NE and 195th St NE and curb ramp replacements along Woodbine Dr. Other work includes roadway channelization and minor improvements to existing monument cases, sanitary sewer structures, and stormwater structures. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified or cashier's check, or bid bond, for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, including additives and alternates, if any. Refer to Instructions to Bidders for more information. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the specifications, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Arlington. The City of Arlington expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive minor irregularities or informalities, and to further make award of the project to the lowest responsible Bidder as it best serves the interest of the City of Arlington. No proposal may be withdrawn after the time stated above, or before Award of Contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) calendar days after opening of the proposals, or Bidder withdraws proposal due to error in accordance with Section 1-03.1 of the WSDOT Standard Specifications.
