Renovation of a municipal facility in Tyler, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of June 15, 2023 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on June 19, 2023. An official Proposers List will be created from the requests and used to distribute any addendums and/or corrections. A Proposal Security in the amount of (5%) percent of the proposal must accompany each proposal in accordance with the Instructions to the Vendors. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all proposals. Tyler ISD reserves the right to separate or eliminate any item(s) it deems necessary to accommodate budgetary and/or operational requirement. Tyler ISD also reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or parts of the proposals, and waiver all formalities, and to award this proposal in the best interests of the district. Tyler ISD encourages the participation of qualified historically underutilized businesses PROJECT LOCATION: 730 S Chilton Ave, Tyler, TX 920 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 1319 Earl Campbell Parkway, Tyler, TX 1335 Earl Campbell Parkway, Tyler, TX All questions are to be channeled through Tyler ISD Facility Services, Attn: pam.king@tylerisd.org Gary, 730 S Chilton Ave, Tyler Texas 75701: Clean and Prep Existing Mod Bit roofs, remove existing blisters back to adhered roof system, prep and prime area and adhere a Mod Bit patch over old blister. Mechanically attach new 1/2 " Dens Deck Prime cover board, adhere a new two-Ply Mod Bit "Cool Roof "System, fully adhere wall and curb flashings to existing curbs, parapet walls, and rise walls. Install new gutter and downspouts, through wall scuppers and coping caps as needed with new prefinished metal. Install new stainless steel metal counter flashings. Raise any curbs as required to meet manufactures requirements for curb flashings and any penetrations (i.e., plumbing vent stacks, electrical lines, communication lines, gas lines ...) as needed to maintain roof warranties. Note slope is in existing structure or existing tapered insulation) At shingled roof area, remove shingles and felt down to deck, repair deck as needed and install in underlayment and specified Architectural Laminate shingles with associated vent stacks, plumbing lead stacks, curbs flashing, hips and ridge shingles. Hogg, 920 S Broadway Ave, Tyler Texas 75701 Clean and Prep Existing Mod Bit roofs, remove existing blisters back to adhered roof system, prep and prime area and adhere a Mod Bit patch over old blister. Mechanically attach new 1/2 " Dens Deck Prime cover board, adhere a new two-Ply Mod Bit "Cool Roof "System, fully adhere wall and curb flashings to existing curbs, parapet walls, and rise walls. Install new gutter and downspouts, through wall scuppers and coping caps as needed with new prefinished metal. Install new stainless steel metal counter flashings. Raise any curbs as required to meet manufactures requirements for curb flashings and any penetrations (i.e., plumbing vent stacks, electrical lines, communication lines, gas lines ...) as needed to maintain roof warranties. Note slope is in existing structure or existing tapered insulation) At old Copper roof at clear story glass windows remove all old Copper standing seam down to deck, install new HT underlayment and new standing seam metal roof systems. Remove all old sealants at clear story (skylight windows) and wet glaze entire system to bring to a watertight condition. Administration, 1319 Earl Campbell Parkway, Tyler Texas 75701 Clean and Prep Existing Mod Bit roofs, remove existing blisters back to adhered roof system, prep and prime area and adhere a Mod Bit patch over old blister. Fully adhere with low rise adhesive, new 1/2 " Dens Deck Prime cover board, adhere a new two-Ply Mod Bit "Cool Roof "System, fully adhere wall and curb flashings to existing curbs, parapet walls, and rise walls. Install new gutter and downspouts, through wall scuppers and coping caps as needed with new prefinished metal. Install new stainless steel metal counter flashings. Raise any curbs as required to meet manufactures requirements for curb flashings and any penetrations (i.e., plumbing vent stacks, electrical lines, communication lines, gas lines ...) as needed to maintain roof warranties. Note slope is in existing structure or existing tapered insulation) Install new pre-finished coping caps at all perimeter edge column cap. Transportation, 1335 Earl Campbell Parkway, Tyler Texas 75701 Clean and Prep Existing Mod Bit roofs, remove existing blisters back to adhered roof system, prep and prime area and adhere a Mod Bit patch over old blister. Mechanically attach new 1/2 " Dens Deck Prime cover board, adhere a new two-Ply Mod Bit "Cool Roof "System, fully adhere wall and curb flashings to existing curbs, parapet walls, and rise walls. Install new gutter and downspouts, through wall scuppers and coping caps as needed with new prefinished metal. Install new stainless steel metal counter flashings. Raise any curbs as required to meet manufactures requirements for curb flashings and any penetrations (i.e., plumbing vent stacks, electrical lines, communication lines, gas lines ...) as needed to maintain roof warranties. Note slope is in existing structure or existing tapered insulation) At old metal roof at back, remove old metal down to deck or structure, install new HT underlayment and new standing seam metal roof systems.
