A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include Base Bid: Roof Areas A, F, G, I, J, K: the removal of the existing mechanically attached TPO Roofing Membrane down to the existing Polyisocyanurate Roof Insulation and associated wall, curb and misc. Roof Penetration Flashings. Installation of new 1/2 " cover board and 80 mil TPO Single-Ply Roofing Membrane, wall, curb & miscellaneous Roof Penetration flashings. Scope of Work also includes the removal & reinstallation of the Pre-finished Metal Cap as required to install new wall flashing. Bid Alternate No. 1: Roof Areas B, C, D, E, H, M & L: the removal of the Asphalt Shingles and underlayment down to the existing Roof Sheathing. The removal and or re-installation of misc. flashing pieces i.e: drip & step flashing. Install new asphalt shingles over whole roof waterproof underlayment, new Pre-finished metal drip edge and step flashing. Bid Alternate No. 2: The repair and patching of water damaged stucco. Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date. ORAL INFORMATION: Questions concerning a bid must be directed in writing to the designated Design Professional (architect or engineer) no less than ten (10) calendar days before bids are due unless provided otherwise via an addendum.
