DESCRIPTION The City of Bellingham (City) is seeking Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to provide engineering, surveying, planning, environmental, feasibility studies, and other services for a Tiny House Project in conjunction with park development. Work may occur at multiple new or existing developed properties. This project will involve multiple areas of expertise not limited to those mentioned above. This work includes all engineering, planning, cost estimating, and other professional design, permitting, and construction administration services to complete development of one or more Tiny House sites, park, and trail development in locations to be determined within the City of Bellingham. Work may include design for structural, civil, roadways, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, wetlands, and/or landscape design for a Tiny House Site and any park development of trails, bridges, walls, restrooms, boardwalks, and other amenities needed to complete the project, including real estate services. Work may also include temporary shower trailers, design of temporary housing units, retrofitting existing tiny houses, design for transport of houses, L&I standards for modular buildings, and all other associated work.
