The Town of Glastonbury will receive on-line bids to perform storm drainage and catch basin rehabilitation located on various town roads including Cavan Lane, Crestdale Road, Fairview Terrace, Glenwood Road, Grindle Brook Road, Orchard Street (Hebron Avenue to Chase Hollow Lane), Strickland Street (Treat Road to Sand Hill Lane), and Tara Drive in Glastonbury. Bidders wishing to submit a bid proposal for this solicitation are directed to respond online through a secure e-Procurement portal. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid except as otherwise expressly provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full amount of the agreed contract price. Bidders are further advised that this project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements of Connecticut General Statutes Section 31-53. Bidders are also hereby alerted to the schedule requirements as outlined in Special Conditions Section 11.00. The Town of Glastonbury is An Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. A Bid may also be rejected if, in the opinion of the Town, the Bid does not meet the standard of quality established by the Bidding Documents. Any or all Bids may be rejected if there is any reason to believe that collusion exists among two or more Bidders.
