Renovation of a municipal facility in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This project involves mechanical, electrical, and plumbing improvements to the Homeless Shelter located at 1001 Polk Street in San Francisco. The mechanical and plumbing improvements include selective demolition and replacement HVAC mechanical systems including new fans and VAV boxes controlled by CO2 sensors, design and replacement of the pneumatic controls with direct digital controls, and replacement of boiler. The scope of work also includes demolition and replacement of rooftop fan penthouse walls and roof; minor structural repair of the structural slab under the Geary, Polk, and Cedar Street sidewalks; and electrical service and lighting improvements. The Homeless Shelter will be occupied and open during construction. *ADDENDUM 1, 2 and 3 HAVE POSTED FOR REVIEW - NO CHANGE TO BID OPENING DATE
