This project requires 33% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on August 3, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Region Three/District Five Office in Paris. Phase III engineering services are required to provide assistance to the District with the analysis of various HMA reports generated by Quality Management Plan (QMP), test results from concrete reports and any other construction project reports throughout District Five. Work under the blanket agreement will be negotiated and authorized by the department. All work for this project may be in either English or metric units. The Consultant will be required to furnish adequate qualified staff as approved by the District to assist in performing the required documentation, coordination, reconciliation, and other duties as assigned to allow the timely completion of projects in accordance with State Specifications. The Consultant will be required to assist in, preparing records, maintain documentation, and provide general assistance as member of the Bureau of Materials for material certification. The department will furnish the Consultant with a Materials Liaison to direct the Contractor and to direct/coordinate the activities of the Consultant’s staff. The department will also furnish the construction plans and specifications.
