Renovation of a mixed-use development in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of July 25, 2023 project is still not awarded. All bidding procedures will be in accordance with the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, 44E (4) the alternate procurement process for modular buildings. The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited providing four (4) modular classroom buildings by purchase The building shall be constructed as to meet all requirements of the Contract Documents, including, but limited to, the plans and specifications for the Modular Classroom Buildings at Hyannis West Elementary School and Barnstable Community Innovation School, 1 Buildings shall be based on the plan layout, size, elevations and specifications in the attached project manual. Questions Due Date: May 24th 2023, 12:00 PM EDT A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price in the form of a bid bond or certified, treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Liquidated damages: Contractor shall pay Owner $1,000.00 for each day The Town of Barnstable reserves the right to waive any formalities, to reject any or all Bids or waive any formalities that appear to be in the best interest of the Town
