Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work to include: pavement removal, curb removal, subgrade preparation, curb replacement (12,300 LF +-), paving (16,000 SY +-), storm sewer modifications and installation (2,000 LF +-), entry drive installation, sodding, irrigation modifications, street light removal and replacement, coordination with various utility relocation work and other construction. Each bidder shall file with their bid proposal a cashier's check, certified check, or bid proposal bond, drawn on an acceptable bank in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Non resident corporations that are not already registered with the Kansas Secretary of State, and all nonresident individuals and partnerships are required by law to register with the Director of Revenue, State Office Building, Topeka, Kansas, and to pay a fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each and every contract, as a precedent to commencing work on the contract. For contracts in excess of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) the foreign contractor shall file with the Director of Revenue an acceptable bond in amount often percent (10%) of the contract. *20% above Engineer’s Estimate so all bids were rejected.* No bid may be withdrawn within a period of thirty (30) calendar days from and after the date fixed for opening bids.
