Site work for a water / sewer project in Revere, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The estimated construction cost for this project is $1,200,000. The proposed work will involve removal and replacement (and new installation) of approximately 3,000 linear feet of 8-inch ductile water mains, and associated hydrant valves, fittings, and copper services to each property. The work will involve installation of temporary water mains above the ground during construction, excavation to remove existing water mains and install new water mains and services. Following installation of the new water mains and services, the excavated areas will be backfilled and paved within the existing road surface or loamed and seeded in the shoulder areas. Once the work is complete, the temporary water mains will be removed. The work also includes temporary and permanent trench paving
