The Following is a General but Not Necessarily Complete Description of the Works to Be Constructed Under This Contract: - Scaffolding, Hoarding, and Complete Enclosure of Existing Standpipe Exterior - Complete Removal and Re-application of Standpipe Exterior Coatings - Complete Removal and Re-application of Standpipe Interior Coatings - Miscellaneous Steel Repairs to Standpipe Structure Concrete Repairs on Existing Foundations - Miscellaneous Ladder and Fall Protection Upgrades - New Exterior Logo (Provisional) - Design, Supply, and Install Cathodic Protection System (Provisional) The successful Contractor acknowledges that time shall be deemed to be of the essence of this Contract. The contractor agrees to have all works Substantially Performed by July 19th, 2024, based on contract award on December 15th, 2023. The contractor may mobilize to site and begin staging and construction activities on April 10th, 2024. The standpipe must remain operational until it is drained by the Township. The contractor will have access to the interior of the drained standpipe on May 1st, 2024.
