The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Port Administration (MDOT MPA) requests proposals for all necessary labor, supervision, and materials required to provide unarmed security guards at various MDOT MPA locations. Security guards provided under this contract will interact with: personnel of the MDOT MPA Office of Security and other departments; armed police provided by the Maryland Transportation Authority ("MDTA") and other police; personnel of the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Customs and Border Protection; MDOT MPA tenants and their employees; longshoremen and other terminal workers; truck drivers, contractors and vendors, visitors, and others. direct questions or requests for clarification in writing to the Procurement Officer as soon as possible and no later than June 12, 2023, to allow the Procurement Officer to answer all questions prior to the deadline for submission of proposals. MDOT MPA has the unilateral right to extend the contract for one (1) additional term of three (3) years.
