2nd Floor Nurses Station Renovation Sealed Bids for the 2nd Floor Nurses Station Renovation to the Washington County Health Department, Johnson City, Tennessee. The Bids will be received at the office of the Washington County Purchasing Director, William Shrewsbury, 100 East. Main Street, P.O. Box 219, Jonesborough, TN 37659, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Late Bids will be returned unopened. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope identified in the upper left-hand corner with the Name and Address of the Bidder and in the lower left-hand corner with the Construction of 2nd Floor Nurses Station Renovation to the Washington County Health Department, Johnson City, Tennessee. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Washington County Health Department, 219 Princeton Road, Johnson City, TN 37604. All Bidders must be Licensed Contractors as required by the Tennessee State Law for the Licensing of General Contractors Contractors Licensing Act of 1994 TCA Title 62, Chapter 6) as amended. No Bid will be opened unless the outside of the sealed envelope containing the Bid provides the following information: The Contractors License Number, Expiration Date and Classification of the Contractor applying to the Bid for Electrical, Plumbing or Heating, Ventilation or Air Conditioning, if that part of each Classification is $25,000.00 or greater. If the value of the Subcontractors work is less than $25,000.00 the Bid envelope shall be marked with the phrase Subcontractors Bid is less than $25,000.00, after each appropriate heading. The Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit is contained in the Contract Documents, and required to be properly filled out and included with the Bid. The Owner, Washington County Commission, reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids and to waive informalities. Any Bid received after the time scheduled for the opening of the Bids will be returned to the Bidder, unopened. This project is funded under an agreement with the State of Tennessee.
