Site work for a water / sewer project in West Allis, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Contractor will clean, dewater, and assess using CCTV a section of Metropolitan Interceptor Sewer (MIS) on the west side of South 116th Street between West Oklahoma Avenue and Root River Parkway in West Allis. This pipe segment is 54 inches in diameter, 912 feet long, and contains a substantial amount of debris. Contract C02014 All questions related to this proposed contract, pre-bid presentation, or potential bidders list must be directed in writing to Nathan Churchill at nchurchill@mmsd.com by no later than 4:00 p.m. on June 9, 2023. Questions received after this deadline and/or questions directed to other contacts at the District will not be recognized. The Contractor will clean, dewater, and perform NASSCO condition assessment for 912 linear feet of 54-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe. Approximately 210 feet from manhole 42406 is a significant joint-offset or sag. The Contractor shall collect data related to this structural defect and for the full length of pipe. Additionally, the Contractor is responsible for traffic control, flow control, and site restoration. The sewer is located on the west side of South 116th Street between West Oklahoma Avenue and the Root River Parkway. Minor manhole work for manhole 42405 and work on any other manhole to repair damage incidental to the work performed.
