The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) is releasing Invitation for Bid (IFB) NO. 2022-4193 entitled, Safety/Bullet Resistant Windows Installation and Repair Services for the CDTFA's Package Exchange Unit (PEU), Cashier Room. Bidders are advised to check the Cal eProcure website for addendums, modifications, and updates to the bid documents. CDTFA is not responsible for failure of the prospective bidder to check for any bid document updates, changes, or answers to questions posted on Cal eProcure. Failure to periodically check the website will be at the bidder's sole risk. In submitting your bid, you must comply with the instructions found herein. Be advised, your bid response will become public record once the Contract becomes final. The CDTFA will provide access to all records upon request unless the law provides an exemption from mandatory disclosure, or a court order is provided. In the opinion of the CDFTA, this IFB package is complete and without need of explanation. The contact person for this IFB NO. 2022-4193 is: PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES The SUCCESSFUL BIDDER (Contractor) agrees to provide to the California Department of Tax & Fee Administration (CDTFA) services which include the manufacturing and installation of safety/bullet resistant windows and other repair/replacement services as identified to the CDTFA Package Exchange Unit (PEU), Cashier Room. Specifically, the Contractor shall provide services which include the design, production, project management, and measurement of the package exchange unit replacement and each window replacement. Contractor will replace all old, damaged items and will facilitate the delivery, installation and provide the labor and equipment to complete the install of all the safety/bullet resistant windows. In addition, the Contractor will be responsible for providing other repair services as identified by PEU's representatives. The Contractor will replace following items due to deterioration: - (1) Cashier window - (1) Reception window - (2) Return windows at the reception - (1) Window #7 - (1) Package Exchange Unit A. The services shall be performed at CDTFA's Oakland Office located at 1515 Clay Street, Suite 303, Oakland, California. The services shall be performed on a date and time to be determined by CDTFA's PEU representatives. B. The Contractor is not authorized to commence work, as described in this contract, until the contract has been fully executed. Any services provided prior to execution of the contract shall be considered voluntary and non-compensable. C. Proposed Term: June 20, 2023, or upon final contract approval, whichever occurs later through December 30, 2023. This Agreement may not be amended to add funds, however it may be amended to extend the term, if it is determined to be in the best interest of CDTFA.
