The County of Wayne is hereby seeking proposals from Wayne County Municipal Waste Haulers that are interested in providing municipal waste collection services for county offices and buildings. The contract is for a (2) year time period, beginning on July 1, 2023 and ending on June 30, 2025. The form contains the locations of the various Wayne County offices that require Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) collection services. Specific information relating to each location is also provided on the form. Perspective bidders are asked to carefully examine the form, particularly regarding their ability to provide services as listed (days of collection, container size and frequency). If you should have any questions regarding this announcement, contact Randy Heller, Solid Waste/Recycling Coordinator at 253-9727 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (Mon-Fri), or at rheller@waynecountypa.gov. Please complete the column entitled "MONTHLY FEE" for each and every location listed. The Hauler will provide all "dumpsters". Please note that interested haulers are required to submit a Certificate of Insurance with minimum coverages in the following amounts: General Liability (Bodily injury and property damage-combined single limit) - $1,000,000 Vehicle Liability - $300,000 minimum per vehicle Workman's Compensation - As required by law. If no employees, a signed and dated letter should be submitted stating that you have no employees, in lieu of proof of insurance.
