Renovation of a power facility in Evergreen, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
**As of June 20,2023, project was awarded to Pinpoint Locating, Inc., awarded amount is $2,199,066.57.** Sealed Bids for the construction of Project No. 724-B, Natural Gas Facilities, Section 1, Peterman to Beatrice will be received by the South Alabama Gas District. The scope of work shall include the installation of the following approximate items of work and quantities of these items: 8" HDPE Gas Line (Open Trench), 45,545 L.F.; 6" HDPE Gas Line (Open Trench), 13,765 L.F.; 4" HDPE Gas Line (Open Trench), 2,450 L.F.; 2" HDPE Gas Line (Open Trench), 1,285; 8" HDPE Gas Line (HDD), 7,200 L.F.; 6" HDPE Gas Line (HDD), 800 L.F.; 4" HDPE Gas Line (HDD), 100 L.F.; 2" HDPE Gas Line (HDD), 105 L.F.; 12" Steel Casing (Bored), 430 L.F.; 10" Steel Casing (Bored), 470 L.F.; 8" Steel Casing (Bored), 57 L.F.; 4" Steel Casing (Bored), 125 L.F.; 8" HDPE Valves, 2 Each; 6" HDPE Valves, 1 Each; 4" HDPE Valves, 3 Each; 2" HDPE Valves, 5 Each; Bituminous Pavement Replacement, 100 L.F.; Line Markers, 100 Each and other miscellaneous necessary items. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities and technicalities therein. No Bidder will be allowed to withdraw his Bid, without Owner's consent, for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of actual bid opening. Bidders must meet the "South Alabama Gas District - Approved Contractor Requirements" and submit required documentation with their bid. Each Bidder shall be a licensed Contractor in accordance with the regulations of the State of Alabama and must include the license number, expiration date and classification on the outside of the sealed bid envelope.
