The City of Albuquerque, through its Department of Municipal Development, is requesting competitive sealed proposals with the intent of entering into a contract with a contractor to serve as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the following project: CMAR Preconstruction and construction services for the construction of the Southwest Public Safety Center, to include a fire station and an Albuquerque Police Department substation, and preconstruction services for an Albuquerque Community Safety office at the same location. Site development package as a whole will be considered for this location. Subject to agreement by the parties, there will be an option to add construction phase services for the ACS facility and preconstruction phase and construction services for additional Albuquerque Fire Rescue Facilities offsite within City limits. Pre-construction of this project is anticipated to be completed by on or around January 15, 2024, and construction should be completed by April 2025. Please be advised that the design consultant has already been contracted for this project. This procurement process is a combined technical qualifications and cost-based selection. The Offeror is required to provide qualifications and other documents as part of the Technical Proposal. The Cost Proposal will be evaluated separately from the Technical Proposal. Offerors attention is specifically directed to: the Instructions to Offerors; Special Provisions; and, the Supplemental Special Provisions contained in the Proposal Documents.
