The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal site in North Sydney, Nova Scotia. The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, the supply and install of new ventilation equipment for an existing Welding Shop, Vehicle Repair Garage, and Carpenter Shop including all electrical and control requirements. More particularly the work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work. Demolition and removal of existing roof mounted exhaust fans, existing welding fume extraction arm, and vehicle exhaust extraction system. Supply and install of new roof mounted exhaust fans including new wiring, starters, and controls. Supply and installation of new welding shop ventilation system including new wiring, starters, and controls. Supply and installation of new vehicle exhaust system including new wiring, starters, and controls. Supply and installation of new carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide gas detection systems. Supply and installation of new fresh air intake hood, damper, and electronic actuator. Supply and installation of new dust collection system for the Carpenter's Shop. Supply and install of all steel, fasteners, and structural elements required for the installation of ventilation equipment.
