The City of Huntsville is re-advertising IFB 23-52 “Water and Wastewater Chemicals” and is currently accepting solicitations in accordance with Local Government Code Chapter 252. The City of Huntsville is aware of the time and effort you expend in preparing and submitting bids and proposals to the City. Please let us know of any solicitation requirements which are causing you difficulty in responding. We want to make the process as easy and painless as possible so that all responsible vendors can compete for the City's business. Scope of Services The City of Huntsville is accepting competitive sealed bids for water and wastewater fitting & supplies to be used in City water and wastewater projects. The intent of the City is to establish an annual fixed price per each item for the periodic purchase of water and wastewater supplies in accordance with the no-lead brass fitting AWWA regulations. Delivery All orders specifying delivery will be made accordingly to the specifications for each type of material described in the bid. In those rare cases where a department needs a particular material immediately and the awarded vendor cannot supply in the time frame requested, The City of Huntsville reserves the right to purchase such material from the next responsive and responsible bidder or on the open market without endangering this agreement. The successful bidder shall not deliver material or provide services as part of this agreement without a purchase order issued by the City. All deliveries must be made and completed between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm Monday through Friday 450 Highway 75 N Huntsville, TX 77320 unless otherwise stated in particular purchase order. All delivery tickets are to have delivery location/address noted.
