Renovation of an educational facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
1)Contractor to secure necessary permits. 2)Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all projects listed above before placing bid. 3)Not responsible for contractor errors as a result of non-field verification. 4)Materials and installation must comply with CPS Standards and Specifications 5)Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. 6)If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, contractor to replace and/or repair as necessary. 7)Provide necessary labor and materials to fix/correct issues preventing any or all of the projects to be marked as completed. 8)All work shall be coordinated with the Board authorized representatives to complete in an agreed upon time frame. 9)Contractor is to remove and dispose of materials torn out and any construction debris. 10)All trash must be removed off-site by contractor. 11)Clean the surrounding area and make sure all is swept of debris. 12)All questions/requests must be received two (2) business days prior to bid closing. Beidler - BAS Repair Project Management and Financial Oversight Phase 2A: Existing BAS System Integration into Distech Supervisor: o Upgrade Existing JACE's 25 devices license to 50 devices as there are more points needed for the existing equipment than provided by Trane o Furnish and install the Distech software license on the existing non-Distech JACE. o Furnish and install Envision Graphic Software license for 5000 Niagara points at the Distech Supervisor server. o Furnish and install a 1-year JACE SMA to keep the SMA current for this year o Integrate existing IP controllers into Distech Server utilizing existing IP drops and addresses. o Field verify existing As-Built's accuracy and generate our deficiency list to supplement the list provided by Trane o Remove the existing frontend server and incorporate BAS into CPS Enterprise Tridium N4 front end. o CPS can use the existing supervisor computer as an operator interface or provide a new OWS per the CPS requirement. o Incorporate existing building automation system into ABC Distech enterprise server utilizing all existing data drops at existing Jenesys JACE and IP controllers installed by Trane. o CPS shall provide ABC with direct remote access to Trane's existing BAS o Convert the existing Trane database to the current CPS Distech Standard and integrate it into Distech Enterprise. This includes: o Database structures/organization o New System Graphics & Floor Plans AHU-01: o (1) Mixed Air Temperature Sensor Remove the existing sensor and furnish, field install, & wire the new sensor. Perform BAS checkout & testing to confirm proper operation. o (1 ) Current Sensor for Supply Fan Status Remove the existing sensor and furnish, field install, & wire the new sensor. Perform BAS checkout & testing to confirm proper. o (1 ) Control Relay for Circ. Pump Start/Stop Remove the existing relay and furnish, field install, & wire the new relay. Perform BAS checkout & testing to confirm proper. AHU-02: o (1) Control Relay for Circ. Pump Start/Stop Remove the existing relay and furnish, field install, & wire the new relay. Perform BAS checkout & testing to confirm Draper. NOTE: All remaining control devices and sequences shall be existing to remain. Any other deficiencies found will be dealt with separately from this quote. AHU-03: o (1) Supply Fan Control issues and wires cut. Troubleshoot and repair supply fan control wiring and all safeties as needed. Suggest repair options if needed, which will be dealt with separately from this quote. o (1) Control Relay for Circ. Pump Start/Stop Remove the existing^elay and furnish, field install, & wire the new relay. Perform BAS checkout & testing to confirm proper. NOTE: All remaining control devices and sequences shall be existing to remain. Any other deficiencies found will be dealt with separately from this quote. (4) Exis. Exhaust Fans (TE-1, TE-2, KE-1, KE-2): Remove the existing relay and furnish, field install, & wire the new relay.
