Site work for a transportation facility in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

The Ministry of Forests, BC Wildfire Service is seeking a qualified general contractor to complete the construction of the site services and earthwork in advance of the new building and facilities being completed. The scope of the works is described below and shown on the drawing package attached. It shall consist of the following activities in categories described below: General Site Development: Site development: Erosion and sedimentation control Bulk earthworks Road and Parking: Granular sub-base / base course Gravel parking Helipad: Granular sub-base 100mm Asphalt - traffic Traffic markings Landscaping: Fencing Gates Mechanical and Electrical Site Development: Electrical Services Telecommunication Cables and connections Incoming conduits (rigid PVC) / duct-banks Site lighting: Site lighting and Miscellaneous power Mechanical services: Septic tank and field Storm drainage system (including piping, manholes, drywell, trench excavation and backfill) Sanitary system (including manholes, trench excavation and backfill) Water system (including piping, fire hydrant, fittings, trench excavation and backfill) Removal/Relocation of existing infrastructure: Existing wash car: To be relocated closer to the new septic field. Provision of new stub outs services in place for final relocation (including water, sanitary and electrical services). Existing car port: To be relocated to final location once ground preparation is complete. Existing septic field: To be decommissioned and abandoned. Removal of existing septic tanks Capping off existing sanitary lines. Existing Seacan 4 plex: To be relocated to where existing carport shall be removed from Existing fuel sheds: To be relocated to their final location Site organization: The general contractor shall work with the owner's team to organize the site during construction to allow for smooth accessibility during construction while BC Wildfire operations are ongoing. The Ministry shall look to the general contractor for support during construction on the following: Site accessibility Integration of existing infrastructure Integration of wildfire operation requirements Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca Awarded to 0747963 B.C.
