Site work for a water / sewer project in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
New drainage infrastructure and pipe re-alignment, along with curb and gutter is proposed along both sides of Delane Ave using a standard city roadway section that has a pronounced crown to direct runoff to the proposed curb and gutter. Roadside ditches along the southern edge of Delane Ave are proposed to be filled and the property frontages re-graded to drain to the proposed infrastructure. Two new catch-basins are proposed near the intersection of the alleyway and Delane Ave. Similar improvements are proposed along Castleton Rd including new drainage infrastructure, pipe re-alignment, and curb and gutter. In addition to the storm drainage improvements a new 6" water line is proposed to be installed down Castleton and connecting to the water line on Lomax Ave. The estimated cost of this Project is 1,277,691.00. The City of Charlotte reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities as it may deem to be in its best interest.
