Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Houston, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of 6/9/2023, no bids were received. Owner intends to rebid at a later date. The Brazos Bridge Beautification project is located in the southwest corner of the Midtown District at the entrance to the Courtlandt Place Historic District and the base of the 527 Spur, adjacent to Bagby Street. The project is intended to beautify the back of curb area along the highway wall with planting including trees, shrubs, and groundcover. Currently the site is void of any planting and the highway wall is unsightly with discoloration, dirt and graffiti present. This planting zone will provide the Courtlandt Place Historic District an unique and welcoming entrance of their own. The scope of work includes tree planting, shrub and groundcover planting, site clean up, irrigation, traffic control and reinstallation of existing signage.
