As the Construction Manager-At Risk (CMR) for the University of Iowa West Campus Parking Ramp, Conlon Construction is issuing this Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFQ) to prequalify bidders in accordance with Chapter 26A of the Iowa Code. This RFQ is for following Material package that has a value in excess of $100,000: 33A - Stormwater Detention (Furnish Only) Project Description:The University of Iowa West Campus Parking Ramp (WCPR) project will construct a 3-bay, 5-level post-tensioned slab reinforced concrete parking ramp that is roughly 280,000 square feet accommodating almost 980 parking spaces and includes a new skywalk connector. The new WCPR will be constructed within an existing parking lot on the west side of campus, immediately north of the West Campus Transportation Center. The new skywalk connector will span from the SE stair/elevator tower of the parking ramp to the existing skywalk east of the West Campus Transportation Center. This bid package is for furnishing modular precast underground stormwater system. The system will be approximately 120,000 gallons and located below the slab on grade and between foundations for the parking ramp structure.
