Responses to questions will be posted on the City website at the following link by May 30, 2023 The selected vendor will provide the following replacement and upgrade to the current City Hall- City Council Chambers audio system: a) Replacement of the current twelve (12) desk microphones as well as wireless options which includes a mute-mic feature which can be overridden within the AV room (located in the City Hall basement) and on the second floor. b) Four (4) Additional microphones- one for the seat on the west side of the chambers, two (2) microphones for the purpose of capturing audience comments from the general seating area and one (1) spare desk microphone. c) Independent level and mute-override controls for each of the aforementioned microphones for both house sound and recording and distribution needs. d) Check and repair/replace existing speakers within chambers as needed. e) Check and repair/replace existing hearing impaired- related technology system. f) Upgrade the "Press Box" (located on the southwest side of the chambers) to provide visiting media entities clean, manageable audio and video feeds from the A/V room. g) Distribution needs: The City seeks options to have independent controls over main/program mix levels being distributed to various sources which include but are not limited to: o House sound o AV control room recorder o Media traq o Comcast cable (AT&T U-Verse, Castus) o Live-streaming (Facebook & YouTube) o AJA HD recorder o Recording decks o Press box (Passive line-level splitter) o Provide a detailed wire-map & equipment packet of operational manuals o Equipment and system training for City staf All questions shall be submitted in writing by end of business May, 24, 2023
