Renovation of a municipal facility in Whistler, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is inviting qualified construction contractors to provide proposals for the supply and installation of a modular building to complement the existing annex building as noted in the design document package, in addition to the supply and installation of the identified site modifications intended to provide a connection between the new and the existing building and the required covered stair from the new construction. The proposed project is intended to provde a finished first floor office area under the existing modular building unit complete with an enclosed bridge for an interior access to the existing Municipal Hall building. The existing modular building unit will be renovated, raised and become the second floor space sitting above the new first floor unit. The project will also include alterations to the existing building exit to accommodate the new bridge, envelope remediation and the bridge connection in addition to the construction of new building exit stairs, two-storey fire exit stairs and site remediation.
