Renovation of a water / sewer project in Goshen, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
City of Goshen, Indiana is soliciting sealed proposals for the above referenced public works project ("Project"). This Project includes, but is not limited to the reconstruction of 10th Street from Jackson Street to Reynolds Street and Douglas Street from the railroad to 10th Street, including curb and gutter, water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer improvements, and other related work as required by the detailed plans and specifications included in the Specification and Contract Documents. Project Number is 8434545, and the documents may be downloaded for a fee of $22 each. The City shall not be responsible for documents obtained from any other source. A sealed proposal must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions and all contractual terms and conditions that are included in the Specifications and Contract Documents. A proposal must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the contract price as evidence of financial responsibility. Proposals may be held for a period not-to-exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the proposal opening for the purpose of reviewing the proposals received prior to awarding the bid and contract. In addition to cost, proposals will be evaluated based on whether the bidder is responsible, and if the bidder's proposal is responsive. The City of Goshen reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals, delete any portions thereof, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any proposal received, and to award a contract, consistent with Indiana
