The County of Yolo is requesting bids from qualified Contractors to provide bid a roof replacement project at 500 Jefferson Blvd., Bldg. B in West Sacramento, CA per specifications outlined in this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Roof Area B1 Contractor to remove all roofing material from all pipe flashing and curb locations to the existing substrate. Remove/ Replace all roofing materials that show evidence of dry rot. Once complete install new decking and insulation to match the existing roof height. Remove roofing materials from expansion joint locationcompletely to existing roof deck. Remove roofing materials from expansion joint location completely to existing roof deck. Remove abandoned HVAC and curb andreplace framing, decking using correct nailing pattern. Fill with insulation to match existing roof height. Eliminate expansion joint and install plywood using correct framing and nailing pattern. Fill location to match existing roof height. Raise perimeter nailers if needed to match finished roof height. Demo any area of the roof that show evidence of dry rot. Replace and install new decking and insulation to match existing roof height. All curbs, pipes, conduit, and gas lines shall have a finished height no less than 10". Contractor is to repair all EPMD at HVAX units that are torn or damaged. Clean and prep substrate to receive new roofing system. Contractor is to be sure to eliminate all areas of ponding before mechanically attaching 1" Polyiso insulation, mechanically attach 1/2 " recover board, followed by fully adhering new specified 60 Mil PVC Membrane with all new associated metals. Install new commercial grade gutters and downspouts at existing locations in accordance with current SMACNA regulations. Bidders who submit a response to this IFB must have the ability to meet the bid specifications and requirement in this IFB.
