In Knox County, Project 024197.10 is located in Jefferson on Route 126, beginning at Gardiner Road and extending northeast 0.45 of a mile. Work associated with the South Thomaston St. George Route 73 Highway Rehabilitation Project will require excavation of select Dredge Material from Harrington Cove (Class SB Waterbody) to replace Cross Culvert (XC) #106985. It is estimated that approximately 28 cubic yards (CY) of dredge material will be excavated from this asset location. Replacement of XC106984 will require excavation of select Dredge Material from an unnamed stream (Class B Waterbody). It is estimated that approximately 7 CY of dredge material will be excavated from this asset location. There is onsite Beneficial Use for all Dredge Material at the two identified asset locations. It is acknowledged that excavation of Dredge for this work may include some boulders.
