Bids are invited upon the following: 1. Site preparation of riverwalk area as per plans and specifications. 2. Furnish & install brick modular pavers 3. (Note pavers to match pattern & color of abutting riverwalk section)- 4" X 8" SF (includes 15% waste) X 4.5 = 12,160- unit pavers (palletized) 4. Furnish and install Paver Edge Restraint 5. Furnish and install 3- rail and post PT wood fence 6. Furnish and install site lighting - 480 LF + 10" spikes (60 - 8' sections) Submittals: (3) paver samples showing color variation and 1' section of edge restraint material as equal substitution to be submitted to: City of Shelton -Highways & Bridges @ 41 Myrtle Street Shelton, CT. Prospective bidders that find omissions, discrepancies and/or errors in specifications, quantities and other matters, must immediately notify the Purchasing agent in writing not less than seven (7) days before the scheduled bid opening. Two (2) copies of completed bid forms and attachments shall be submitted. All proposals must be on the forms furnished with the Contract Documents. The City of Shelton reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities or defects in Bids, and to make such time extensions as may be necessary in order to review and compare Bids, to obtain such supplemental information as may be necessary to review Bids and to accept Bid(s) that, in the judgment of the City of Shelton, will be in the City's best interest.
