The City of Aurora, Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department (PROS) is seeking proposals from interested consulting firms to provide park master planning and park design services to update the current master plan and provide schematic design, design development, public engagement activities, and construction documents for the existing Rocky Ridge Park. This project will primarily address a desire to update the current master plan, possibly add a synthetic turf field area, plan for a full irrigation renovation, perform a circulation study within the park, utilize public engagement to help inform decisions regarding the park, but may also include other improvements to address infrastructure or accessibility concerns identified during the schematic design phase of the project. PROS is seeking a consultant team skilled in neighborhood park planning and design, public engagement, and construction document development. The consultant team may also need to include irrigation design, limited civil, structural, and electrical engineering expertise.
