Renovation of an educational facility in Oceanside, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
HVAC INSTALLATION SCOPE OF WORK: (29) Units Per Sigler Equipment Proposal # 0323MFAT0203A DEMO OF EXISTING UNITS TO INCLUDE: Disconnect existing controls (Utilize on new equipment if applicable) Demo existing line voltage service disconnect and associated components. Demo existing gas flex at unit including gas valve. Disconnect existing condensate drains. Disconnect existing seismic clips/ springs as required. Crane off existing units and recover refrigerant and dispose per EPArequirements. INSTALLATION (LIKE FOR LIKE) OF NEW HEAT PUMP RTU UNITS (29): Install new adapter curbs for associated units (if applicable) Furnish install new condensate piping w/P-Trap, clean-out, connection to existingPOC. Reconnect existing electrical to new units. Demo existing gas lines as all new units are Heat Pumps and no longerrequired. Furnish and install new NEMA 3R Service Electrical disconnect w/ fuses matched to units maximum fuse size. Furnish and install new liquid tight for high and low voltage wiring to existing roofPOC Ductwork connections to existing S/A, R/A POC's (flex connections asrequired) Installation of unit accessories. ADDITIONAL ITEMS INCLUDED IN SCOPE: Project management, Field supervision, Administrative Support, Field Labor & Rental Equipment as required to complete the Scope of Work as described. Training, Start Up and Performance Verification of Newly Installed Equipment. Startup of Units to factory specifications including Startup Documentation along with Operation and maintenance manuals Outside air economizer verification to be set per occupancy (set-point) Air Balance Assistance DDC controls verification of items removed/ reinstalled. Scrape and paint existing items listed (gas pipe, exposed duct on roof) with Rust-Oleum paint (as- required). Material Handling, Trash Removal Trash Dumpsters/Receptacles as required to complete Scope of Work Tool/Material Storage Containers required to complete Scope of Work DIR Compliance Crane/Hoisting Equipment required to complete Scope of Work Crane Plans/ Safety Coordination DDC INSTALLATION SCOPE OF WORK: CONDUIT: Provide within each building all low voltage Conduit and Wiring, as required for materials and scope listed herein. CONDUIT TO BE REUSED AND EXTENDED AS REQUIRED. ROOFTOP UNITS (29): RTU-A-Breakroom, A-Admin, A-Library, A-Councilor, B-1, B-2, C-4, C-5, D-7, D-8, D-9, E-12, E-11, E-10, F-13, F-14, G-16, G-17, G-18, H-20, H-21, H-19, J-22, J-24, K-1, K-2, MPR1, MPR2, MPR3 Notes: (Communication wire will be extended from controls and will be reinstalled) (IF APPLICABLE) INSTALL AND WIRE: (29) Direct Digital Controllers, mounted and wired in NEMA 3R enclosures, installed at associated HVAC Units (29) Space Temperature Sensors Combination Temp & CO2, with foam isolation pad, push button override, setpoint control and LCD display, installed in the occupied space (29) Duct Temperature Sensors, installed in the supplyduct (29) Current Sensing Relays, for sensing supply fans status (25) Economizer Control Signal Wires, to factory mounted economizer actuator NETWORK & OPERATOR INTERFACE: INSTALL PROGRAM/ CONFIGURE: Setup and install the DDC Database for all system controllers onto the userinterface Load graphic files onto the user interface and map control points Setup alarm processing and routing to include Email and Texting Creation of the following Graphic Displays: Building Floor Plans with color coded zone indicators. Equipment included: RTUs Graphical Slider Schedule times and Holidays Calendar Furnish and install BACnet IP & RNET Network CLARIFICATIONS - NOT INCLUDED OR INSTALLED: 1. DSA inspection or approval (project like for like) 2. Smoke detectors, fire life safety controls or smoke/fire dampers 3. Electrical Breaker replacement, upsizing/downsizing, and wire upgrades from breaker panel to disconnect. 4. Controls other than factory installed in new equipment 5. Air distribution survey or diagnostics 6. Roof patching 7. Wall, ceiling repair or painting 8. Third Part Commissioning Each bid shall be accompanied by cash, a cashier's or certified check, or a bidder's bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California as a surety, made payable to the District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid. The check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder to whom the contract is awarded will execute the Contract Documents and will provide the required payment and performance bonds and insurance certificates within ten (10) days after the notification of the award of the contract. A payment bond is required for a public works contract involving an expenditure in excess of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). Separate payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract amount, The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Minority, female, and disabled veteran contractors are encouraged to submit bids.
