CityHousing Hamilton is replacing the emergency generator at 185 Jackson Street East, Hamilton. Summary of description below shall be read along with Specifications and Drawings. The Project scope of Work consists of the following: Removal of the existing diesel driven emergency generator and the installation of new natural gas driven emergency generator. The demolition scope of Work includes the complete removal of all diesel fuel delivery and storage components. New Work includes a separate natural gas service installation from the street. The scope of Work further includes the replacement of the engine exhaust systems, intake and exhaust louvres, automatic transfer switches, power distribution, and building modifications and restoration to suit the Work. Work includes the removal of the existing fire standpipe booster pump, complete with controller. The scope of Work includes the provision of a new electric fire pump package including jockey pump, controller and electrical upgrades and replacementof emergency lighting upgrades throughout the building. CityHousing Hamilton's project reference number is PT-23-02COCHI4 Bidders are advised of the following dates that shall be met: Substantial performance date shall be February 29, 2024.
