The City has initiated this program to address aging and early failure of copper water service lines. The replacements will include replacing the identified copper service lines from the watermain to the property line with PEX. This will include locating, excavation, replacement, and rehabilitation of disturbed surface areas. The number of locations will vary depending on the pricing that is received however, it is guaranteed that a minimum of seven (7) locations for water service replacement will be included as part of this scope of work, every year for the next five (5) years.
