The City of St. Charles, Missouri is seeking bids from qualified contractors for maintenance of public parking lots. For those projects with a total cost of more than $75,000.00, Annual Wage Order No. 29 shall be in effect for the project. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Includes 2" milling of transition joints at edges of asphalt parking lot. Also includes replacement of the concrete vehicle parking stops in the Monroe St. parking lot (separate bid line item). The Contractor shall furnish at its own expense, all labor, vehicles, equipment, tools, fuel, facilities, and any other item necessary to accomplish the work required under the contract. a. "South Boathouse" parking lot on the east side of the KATY Trail south of Boone's Lick Rd. extended (Approximately 11,200 square yards) b. "Monroe St." parking lot on the west side of the 200 block of N. Riverside Dr. south of Monroe St. (Approximately 2,900 square yards) 2. Placement of 1-1/2" type "C" compacted asphaltic concrete overlay, and re-striping of two (2) public parking lots listed below in downtown St. Charles. Includes 1-1/2" milling of transition joints at edges of asphalt parking lot and crack sealing prior to asphalt overlay. Also includes placement of a wedge/leveling course on the Big A's parking lot to alleviate irregularities in the parking lot, promote better surface drainage, and improve cross traffic grades. The Contractor shall furnish at its own expense, all labor, vehicles, equipment, tools, fuel, facilities, and any other item necessary to accomplish the work required under the contract. a. "Big A's" parking lot on the west side of the 300 block of N. Riverside Dr. between 308 and 324 N. Main St. (Approximately 1,000 square yards) b.
