As of December 4, 2024, this project is in the design phase. Construction won't begin until 2026 or later. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference* The work to be performed by the Consultant consists of performing alternatives analysis, public outreach/participation, preparing preliminary engineering design for improvements to Argonne Road and Upriver Drive intersection. The proposed alternatives analysis include performing a traffic engineering analysis, transportation area study to choose a preferred intersection improvement solution, the public outreach/participation include soliciting public input and comment on possible intersection solutions, coordinating a technical advisory team consisting of freight advocates, local jurisdictions, transportation professionals, transit representatives, ped/bike representatives and the intersection design includes an environmental process and documentation, preparing design documentation and engineering design plans for the chosen preferred alternative This project has a 14% mandatory DBE agreement goal.
