Site work and renovation of a residential development in Lexington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

A. The Work under the Contract consists of: 1. The Project consists of: Installation of addressable fire alarm systems for Lexington Housing Authority, as well as, removal of existing fire alarm devices upon final signoff of the new fire alarm system. The two locations are Greeley and at Vynebrook. There is also limited asbestos abatement. 2. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. B. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, Electrical, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 10.4% of the final contract price including accepted alternates
