Question Deadline 05/23/2023 The Central Avenue, Ra-20, Bridge Scour Protection consists of bridge scour counter measures in order to mitigate existing erosion and scour as well as future erosion and scour at the existing bridge on Central Avenue, in the City of Rahway, Union County, New Jersey. The County of Union intends to construct articulated open cell armor concrete matting adjacent and underneath the existing bridge to prevent further erosion and scour on the bridge that is located on Central Avenue over the Robinsons Branch. Construction equipment such as excavators, cranes, and dump trucks will be the dominant construction equipment on-site during the construction of the scour protection consisting of articulated open cell armor concrete matting.
