Renovation of a military facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Contractor to demolish existing exterior walls, existing locker and shower rooms, existing restrooms, and existing second floor offices. Contractor to expand exterior building footprint and install new locker and shower rooms, new restrooms, and new second floor offices and open office area. Contractor to also install new fire suppression systems throughout entire building. Contractor to include all temporary facilities as required to maintain current levels of operations throughout all construction areas and includes but is not limited to temporary restrooms, locker and shower areas, and office spaces. Contractor to remove and replace the roofing materials at both the Headworks and Fleet Maintenance Building as indicated. Two additional roof repairs are included in this project. Contractor and Subcontractors are bound by and must comply with all federal, state and local laws about minimum wages, overtime Work, hiring and discrimination, including, but without limitation, NRS 338.020 through 338.090. Contractor shall ensure that all employees on the Work are paid in accordance with the current prevailing wage rates as approved by the state labour commissioner, whenever the actual value of the Contract meets or exceeds the minimum value threshold set by Nevada law. Owner reserves, without limitation, the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, and to make award to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder, as it may best serve the interest of Owner. Owner reserves the right to inspect records, reports, and any other information that may be maintained by or for Bidder to the extent necessary, as determined by Owner, to verify, clarify, or otherwise consider the information provided by Bidder. Failure to provide any and all information required may result in a Bidder being declared nonresponsive. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of a cashiers or a certified check, cash, or Bid Bond (Document 00 43 15) in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid, made payable to or for the benefit of (as the case may be) the Clark County Water Reclamation District. The Bid Guaranty shall be given as a guarantee that Bidder will honor its bid for ninety (90) days after the Bid Submission Deadline and will furnish the necessary insurance certificates, Faithful Performance Bond (Document 00 61 13), Labor and Material Bond (Document 00 61 14), and Guaranty Bond (Document 00 61 15) (collectively, the Bonds) in the amount stated herein in Article 7. Attorneys-infact who sign Bonds must file with each Bond a certified and effectively dated copy of their power-of-attorney. In case of Bidders refusal or failure to enter into the Agreement within 10 calendar days after issuance of written Notice of Award by Owner, the Bid Guaranty, and the money represented by the Bid Guaranty, shall be forfeited to Owner. Simultaneously with the execution of the Agreement, the Successful Bidder shall furnish a Labor and Material Bond (Document 00 61 14) in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, a Faithful Performance Bond (Document 00 61 13) in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, a Guaranty Bond (Document 00 61 15) in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, the Certificate of Liability Insurance (ACORD 25), and required endorsements (CG 20 10 10 01, CG 20 37 10 01, CG 24 04 05 09, CG 20 48 10 13, and CG 04 44 03 10). All Bonds shall be secured from a surety company satisfactory to Owner and authorized to issue such Bonds in the state of Nevada.
