Site work, paving and new construction of a fire / police facility in Suffolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and for paving for a fire / police facility.
Provide all plant, labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, incidentals, and other ancillary items necessary, as identified in these Contract Documents, in order to complete Suffolk Fire Station #11, to the limits shown on the drawings and in accordance with all specification, terms, conditions, and drawings herein. Bidders are to submit Section as their bid. Failure to do so may result in rejection of your bid. Bids will not be accepted through EVA. If said work is not substantially complete within 517 calendar days as stated in the Notice to Proceed, the Contractor shall be liable and hereby agrees to pay to the Owner as liquidated damages, and not as a penalty, the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per calendar day for each and every part of a day thereafter that said work remains substantially incomplete
