Renovation of a fire / police facility in Essex, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The work consists of removal of 3 steel metal double door sets (1 exterior and 2 interior) including the frame and all related hardware, all new doors and hardware are to be replaced in kind. All framing installation, door installation and hardware installation will be done per the manufacturer's specifications. Bid prices are irrevocable for a period of 120 days following bid opening. After opening bids, the Procurement Officer may request bidders to extend the time during which the State ma accept their bids, provided that, with regard to bids, no other change is permitted. The work shall be completed within 60 calendar days from the start date of the contract. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquated damages of $250.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions Question Deadline Extension: The question deadline has been extended to May 19,2023 @ 10am, to assure that there is enough time to allow the AE to provide responses and Addendum issuance if necessary.
