Work shall be performed in accordance w ith the attached specifications, draw ings, and statement of w ork. This project is being solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, and the Small Business Size Standard is $39,500,000.00. Construction project magnitude is betw een $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Funds are not presently available for this contract. Currently, the Government anticipates funds w ill become available prior to but no later than midnight 30 September 2023. This action has been identified on the National Guard priority list for aw ard if funds become available and the prices received are w ithin an aw ardable range. A pre-bid conference and site visit have been scheduled. See Section 00100 and Clause 52.236-27 for details. Contractors intending on submitting a bid are highly encouraged to have a representative at the pre-bid conference and site visit. In accordance w ith FAR clause 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee, a bid bond is required w ith the bid. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The 145 th Airlift Wing in Charlotte, NC has a requirement for a construction project to extend communications duct bank in 3 areas of the base subject to the availability of funds. This project includes but is not limited to: Area 1: Approximately 145 LF of new communications duct bank. Area 1 will require the removal and replacement of approximately 515 SF of asphalt, 225 SF of heavy-duty concrete and 12 LF of curb and gutter. Area2: Approximately 545 LF of new communications duct bank, including approximately 30 LF of vertical duct bank that runs down an existing retaining wall. Area 2 will require the removal and replacement of approximately 1,980 SF of asphalt, 6 LF of curb and gutter, and 8 LF of guardrail. Area 3: Approximately, 1,385 LF of new communications duct bank and a minimum of three new communications manholes.
