A timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* UC San Diego requests qualifications for selecting an Executive Architect for the Moores Cancer Center MRI Equipment Building project. The purpose of this project is to replace aging MRI equipment and related rooftop chillers. This project will replace aging MRI equipment and chillers, expand the MRI room to meet new code requirements for room area and accommodate new equipment located on the first floor. Additional structure is needed to support a larger chiller on the 5th floor roof. The University is committed to promoting and increasing participation of small business enterprises (SBEs) and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs), subject to any and all applicable obligations under state and federal law, and University policies. The selected consultant shall make best efforts to provide qualified SBEs and DVBEs with the maximum opportunity to participate.
