UPDATE : This project provides for the replacement and automation of air handlers at the Convention Center. They will be upgraded to newer units that require less frequent repair and are more energy efficient. Also, automating more of the building will optimize the quality of air and energy used, substantially reducing labor dollars. Beginning in FY 2026/27, air handler 12 in the administration area will be replaced. In FY 2027/28, the administration building will be retrofitted from pneumatic air controls to digital controls. Replacing air handlers in Halls A-E will begin in FY 2027/28 and is scheduled to be completed by FY 2030/31. Mechanical deck coating is proposed to completely seal the deck in FY 2028/29.
