The applicable NAICS CODE: 237310 - Highway, Street and Bridge Construction (Size Standard is $45M). As a result of this synopsis and possible solicitation, the Special Project Operations Center, Intermountain Branch, plans to award a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation, if released, will be governed by Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15, "Contracting by Negotiation". This synopsis will be posted for 15 days. The scope of this project is to prepare the road surface (by grading, watering, and rolling) and install commercial source aggregate surfacing along with drainage structures on Jackson Creek Road #977 and Middle Fork Willow Creek Road #6600 on the Bozeman Ranger District, Custer Gallatin National Forest. Work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform road work on the road specified herein. All work and equipment shall be in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of this contract. All equipment shall be in good operating condition and shall be operated by competent, experienced operators experienced in the work. The anticipated magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.00.
