The scope of the intrusive activities completed as part of these Phase II ESAs should include work such as test pit excavation, drilling of borehole/monitoring wells, collection of soil, groundwater and (if applicable) surface water and sediment sampling. Other less intrusive activities such as push-probe technology can also be used to conduct the work at these sites. The locations of the nine (9) sites and a brief description of each site are outlined below. Site descriptions are mainly based on field observations from historical reports and aerial photographs shown with these descriptions are from 2010 aerial photography. The accuracy of the approximate cell location is expected to be verified through field investigation. The following maps are not to scale and the cell location is approximate. The former Kildare Capes Landfill site (PID #15396) is located on Fitzpatrick Road. The site is not secured by a gate or fence; however, access to the site is restricted by a berm. There are two vegetated cells separated by an overgrown access road. The perimeter of the cells and the surrounding property is heavily vegetated with trees and shrubs. Therefore, access to the site is limited. The total area of the cells was determined to be approximately 36 000 m2 .
