Department of Housing, Land and Communities Housing ServicesWindows, Siding, and Insulation as per attached draft contract for: Morell "B" Seniors Housing, 62 Queen Elizabeth Drive, Morell, PEI. Windows - acceptable product is Atlantic, triple-glazed single hung window and double combination single hung window with Low-E Argon, or approved equal; lifetime warranty on vinyl, 30 years on hardware, labor and glass. b. Acceptable PVC waterboard - CertainTeed 1' x 8', color white with wood grain exposed or approved equal. Color Khaki Brown with a lifetime warranty. Vinyl siding to be installed on gables the same as walls, in horizontal pattern. All trim, corners, soffits, and fascia are to be white in color. Under sill, trim to be used on side walls and bottom side of windows. d. Fascia to be wrapped in white metal. e. Eavestrough to be constructed out of aluminum, seamless, and 5" wide, complete with downspouts and tie backs. Color to be white. f. Caulking - acceptable product is Dap, Alex Fast Dry Caulking, exterior paintable latex caulking, or approved equal. h. Blueskin - acceptable product is Sopraseal Stick 1100T or approved equal; i. Expandable foam - acceptable product is Great Stuff or approved equal. j. Interior casing - acceptable product is Alexandria pre-primed 3/5" finger jointed pine. k. Interior paint - acceptable product is Dulux, Lifemaster, free of VOCs and 100% acrylic; color to match existing and semi-gloss finish; all paint to be latex. l. All exterior fasteners to be galvanized. Completion date is October 31, 2023 Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a public tender opening will not take place.
