Renovation and addition to a medical facility in Clinton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the addition of a 3,000-square-foot, two-story above grade medical facility; and for the renovation of a medical facility.
Addition and renovation to Huron Hospice Bender House, located in Clinton, Ontario. A 3,000 sq. ft. addition (approx) consisting of 4 resident rooms and partial second floor is proposed, to augment the services currently provided by Huron Hospice. Building addition is proposed as slab on grade construction, with in-floor heating, wood framed walls and roof with stone veneer and asphalt shingle roofing. Renovations in the existing facility will include washroom upgrades, resident room alterations, asphalt shingle roof replacement and hydro upgrades. Site work includes new parking area, driveways, covered drop-off, sidewalks, septic system extension and underground fire fighting water storage tank. The Hospice will remain operational during construction. Approximate value of Construction is $1.5M. Anticipated project schedule: - Bidding period: June 14, 2023 - July 06, 2023 - Award of contract: October 05, 2023 - Site Mobilization: October 15, 2023 - Construction completed: July, 2024 Bids submissions will be executed, in two (2) parts, as follows: a) Stipulated Price Bid Form - Closing time at 1:00:00 PM Local Time, Thursday, July 6, 2023. b) Appendices to the Bid Form - Closing time at 3:00:00 PM Local Time, Thursday, July 6, 2023 All subtrade pricing goes directly to the General Contractor Bidder, not to the Architect. bid value not released for publication.
