Renovation of a municipal facility in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Project to modernize one (1) hydraulic passenger elevator at the AER's Core Research Centre. The work initiated by this RFP will see the modernization of the hydraulic cylinder and other mechanical devices, major controls, safety devices and barrier-free upgrades required by code, the addition of emergency power, and updated cab finishes. The project is split into 2 phases: Phase 1 - Pre-Construction (assessment, recommendations, drawings & specifications Phase 2 - Construction. Phase 1 - Pre-Construction (assessment, recommendations, drawings & specifications): The onboarding of a Prime Consultant is in progress with commencement of services expected on June 21, 2023 (tentative, as required). The anticipated completion of Phase 1 is on or before Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Phase 2 - Construction: The successful respondent of this RFP will assume the role of Construction Manager, acting as the Prime Contractor, and must be able to provide substantial completion of Phase 2 as outlined in Section 7 Project Scope and Requirements on or before February 28, 2024. Substantial completion by February 28, 2024, is critical and a firm deadline due to the AER's fiscal restrictions.
